Ms. Montgomery has been practicing law for over 14 years. Her previous position at an insurance company provided her with valuable insight into every facet of the insurance claim and litigation process. Georgina now uses that unique insight as a tool to fight for injured clients and provide the help they need during what is often the most difficult times of their lives.
“I came to Rutter Mills because I felt empowered to make decisions not based on what is best for me, or the firm, but what is best for my clients. We put them back in control of their lives. Not every firm can say that.”
Montgomery earned a Bachelor of Music, cum laude from the University of Miami with a Major in Music Business/ Entertainment Industries and Minors in Business Law and Italian Language. She received her Juris Doctorate from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, where she competed as a member of the Moot Court Board, and focused her studies on trial advocacy. Her passion for the art of storytelling is what led Georgina to the practice of law. It was during an opportunity working for a Pennsylvania judge that she saw how she could put her talents to work for others, helping them to tell their stories.
Working as a plaintiff’s attorney, Georgina acts as the voice for people who have been injured. She is challenged to retell their story and the traumatic effects the injury has had on victims. Her fierce nature makes her an excellent trial attorney, but Montgomery’s clients benefit from her compassion and empathy. Because of her skills representing clients who can not speak for themselves, she is often called on to represent the most vulnerable in our society, children in daycare injury cases.
Outside the office, you will find Georgina with her family. She and her husband enjoy watching their two young children grow and experience the world. The Montgomery family attend Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church where Georgina regularly enjoys serving as a Cantor.
Georgina serves as a role model for many of the young women at Rutter Mills. Seeing her go toe to toe with corporate trial attorneys from large insurance companies to get her clients the money they need helps to forge a path for others who aspire to a career in law.
