Back to School Pledge

Today, many of our area’s public schools welcome back their students for another year of learning. While many of us usher our children to their first day of school, I think we can all agree that safety is of the upmost importance. The addition of school buses and in some cases pedestrian children can make a big impact on our roadways.

We all need to be mindful of the new additions to our roadways and be alert and aware of our surroundings. Take extra caution around crosswalks and school zones, and remember to give school busses the proper space and right of way.
